NEW ORLEANS — Urban South Brewery announces the return of Unholy Roller, a seasonal hazy Double IPA brewed with Citra, Mosaic and Centennial hops and blood orange. Returning for a limited time this fall, the bold seasonal release combines juicy citrus flavor with the hop-forward character of a Double IPA.
At 8% ABV and 40 IBU, Unholy Roller features a hazy, full-flavored profile built around Citra, Mosaic and Centennial hops. Blood orange adds another layer of bright, juicy citrus, complementing the beer’s hop character and giving the returning release its signature flavor.
Unholy Roller joins Urban South’s rotating seasonal lineup as one of the brewery’s bolder releases. The beer gives the brewing team an opportunity to experiment with a hop-forward style while using blood orange to build on the natural citrus characteristics of the hops.
“Part of the fun of brewing at Urban South is finding ways to put our own spin on styles people already know,” said Jacob Landry, Co-Founder of Urban South Brewery. “Unholy Roller takes everything we love about a Double IPA and adds a bold fruit element that makes it distinctly Urban South. It’s bold, a little unexpected and allows us to have some fun with what a Double IPA can be.”
Unholy Roller will be available for a limited time in 6-packs and on tap at bars and restaurants across Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida while supplies last. Consumers can also use the Urban South Beer Finder to locate Unholy Roller at retailers near them.
