Taco Bell Canada is reaching into its menu archives to bring Canadians three iconic items that prove the next big fast-food innovation may already exist in the past. Starting September 3, The Meximelt and Caramel Apple Empanada are returning after years of fan requests, while The Quesarito makes its official Canadian debut. All three will be available for a limited time at participating Taco Bell Canada locations, while supplies last.
Spanning decades of Taco Bell history, the lineup brings together two fan-favourite comebacks and one long-awaited debut, allowing fans to revisit favourites they remember while also discovering something new. The Meximelt takes fans back to the ’80s, the Caramel Apple Empanada brings back a beloved 2000s-era dessert, and The Quesarito introduces Canadians to one of Taco Bell’s most legendary menu creations.

Having built a legendary reputation in the United States and Spain, The Quesarito is finally making its way to Canada. A burrito wrapped inside a grilled cheese quesadilla, it’s become one of the most requested Taco Bell menu items among fans who have been waiting for the chance to try it closer to home.
The Meximelt
One of Taco Bell’s most recognizable fan favourites, the Meximelt returns for the fans who have been consistently asking to see it back on the menu. A throwback that has earned its place in Taco Bell history, the Meximelt brings a taste of the ’80s back to Canadian restaurants, proving that some cravings never really go away.
The Caramel Apple Empanada
The Caramel Apple Empanada is making its comeback more than a decade after first becoming a Taco Bell cult favourite. Combining a sweet caramel-apple filling with a crispy, golden shell, the dessert is the kind of Taco Bell memory that can transport fans straight back to a classic late-night run.
