The new certification reflects the better-for-you snack brand’s continued commitment to ingredient integrity, quality and transparency

BOULDER, Colo. (Aug. 31, 2026) – The Good Crisp Company, the better-for-you savory snack brand known for creating delicious snacks with thoughtfully selected ingredients, today announced that its full line of Crinkle Cut Chips is now Seed Oil Free Certified®. The brand is also pursuing certification for additional product lines.

The certification comes as consumers are increasingly interested in both where their food comes from and how it’s produced. This includes the approximately one-third of Americans who prefer to avoid seed oils.

The Seed Oil Free Alliance certification program builds consumer trust and verifies claims against a proven standard, backed by ISO-accredited laboratory testing and ongoing supply-chain auditing. The organization advances seed oil-free foods and consumer products through testing, transparency, and education.

“Consumers deserve to know exactly what is in the snacks they serve their families, and our decision to pursue seed oil free certification reflects our commitment to providing that clarity,” said Matt Parry, founder and CEO of The Good Crisp Company. “This certification gives consumers added confidence that the oil in our Crinkle Cut Chips is exactly what we say it is—verified, transparent and seed oil free. We’re proud to achieve this milestone and look forward to working toward certification across more of our portfolio.”

The oil used in The Good Crisp Company’s Crinkle Cut Chips is RSPO Certified Sustainable Palm Oil. This means it has been produced according to the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil’s rigorous sustainability standards.

“We’re proud to welcome The Good Crisp Company to the Seed Oil Free Certified community with the certification of their Crinkle Cut Chips,” said Jonathan Rubin, CEO and founder of the Seed Oil Free Alliance. “We share a vision of positive change and the importance of ingredient transparency and quality. Together, we are working to create a brighter future for our food supply.”

In addition to being Seed Oil Free Certified®, the Crinkle Cut Chips—like every product from The Good Crisp Company—are also gluten-free and made without artificial colors or GMO ingredients.

All Crinkle Cut Chips packaging now carries the Seed Oil Free Certified® seal, helping consumers more easily identify the certification when shopping.
