Q3 CPG Financing Deals - Northhall Report, October 2026 (opens in a new tab)

Investment activity in the food, beverage and CPG sectors rebounded in Q3 2026, but the headline growth figures tell only part of the story. According to Northhall’s latest financing deals report, venture funding reached $445 million, up 79% from the previous quarter and 29% year over year. However, much of that increase was driven by a single significant investment, while the number of funded brands remained unchanged at 40. The divergence between rising total investment and relatively stable deal activity suggests a market where capital remains available but is increasingly concentrated among select companies.

Beneath the topline figures, the report reveals important shifts in deal size, funding distribution and investor activity. While large growth-stage investments accounted for a substantial share of total capital, smaller financing rounds continued to dominate transaction volume, highlighting the different funding environments facing emerging and established brands. Northhall also examines notable venture investments and M&A transactions across food, beverage and adjacent CPG categories, offering insight into where investors are deploying capital and which businesses are attracting attention.
