Hello, and thank you so much for joining us today.

I am Melissa Travers, Director of Community here at BevNET and NOSH, welcoming you to the very first Nombase Podcast.

Make sure you join our Nombase community if you haven't already at slack.bevnet.com.

Today is the official launch of nombase.com.

I am here with our co-host, our Director of Marketing, Jackie Brugliera.

We are going to walk you through everything that Nombase has to offer.

So we are evolving the show that you used to know and love, Community Call, into the Nombase Podcast.

This is going to be the same community content with a new home.

We are also going to be including health and beauty content here as well.

So we're super excited about that.

You can watch the Nombase Podcast recording live on the Nombase homepage or on Zoom.

You can also watch a video recording or listen to the podcast on nombase.com or Apple, Spotify or your platform of choice.

We are going to continue the expert driven community content that brought us all here together in the first place.

We are, like I said, broadening the scope to include health and beauty brands.

So if you are a health and beauty brand or you know those folks, definitely refer them to nombase.com and to the Slack community.

We would love to chat and meet all of those folks.

We have a full podcast lineup for you for this month.

You can check that out on nombase.com.

So this March, we have Casey Gaston from Whole Foods Market and Molly Santulli from Springdale Ventures.

They're going to be sharing their hot takes from Expo 2025.

We also have Fishwife, Ithaca Hummus, Happy Wolf, Belgian Boys, Pistachio, all of your favorite brands talking about how to do business in CPG effectively and intelligently.

So go to nombase.com for a full schedule and sign up for those shows.

Jackie, I think we should probably talk about what Nombase is, right?

I mean, yeah, for sure.

This is something new and exciting that we're doing.

And I think everyone's curious what Nombase means.

So Nombase is our brand new platform from BevNET, NOSH, and Brewbound.

Food, beverage, beer, spirits, and beauty professionals.

It's a place to connect, gain insights, and grow.

Jackie, does Nombase cost anything?

No, it's free to explore for anyone that wants to jump in, start searching through the company directory, looking through the job openings, the press releases.

There's a lot to explore.

So I recommend heading to nombase.com.

Just start poking around because we want to know what you think.

And for insiders, there's some extra benefits.

So if you go to the AI portion, you'll see those there.

So yeah, start jumping in.

It's free to explore.

There's a lot to offer there.

And like Jackie said, just hop right in, start looking around.

I think the AI portion has been my favorite to play around with so far.

So you can throw in any CPG question that you have, and then the AI function that we build out will scrape all of our information, all of our articles, and get you an AI-powered answer.

And then you'll get links to all of the articles that support that.

So it's a really easy way to search all of the information that we've put out over the last many, many years.

Yes, decades of information, and the AI tool does all the heavy lifting for you.

So it's AI-backed by all of our industry reporting, which is a really cool tool.

And if you're a service provider or a supplier, make sure you go into our partner directory.

So we've preloaded that directory with how many, how many listings?

It's, I mean, it's in the thousands.

It's over 9,000 companies that are in there.

And that's from co-packers, ingredient suppliers, investors, retailers, anyone that's critical to the industry, anyone that's, you know, supporting food, beverage, beer, spirits, health and beauty companies, they're in there.

And our team has spent many, many, many hours scouring that data to make sure that it's useful and that it's correct.

So go in there, take a look.

If you are a service provider or supplier, make sure you check out your listing.

You may want to add contact information.

You may want to fill out your profile a little bit more.

So definitely go ahead and check that out.

And if you're a brand or if you're an investor or if you're a retailer, you can go in there and find resources for the folks that you're partnering with.

So if you're an investor, all of you have brands who are looking for manufacturers and brokers and other folks in the industry.

So that's a great place to get immediate leads.

Yeah, and there's a great filtering section where you can look at top level categories or you can go straight into the search bar and just start looking up what you're looking for.

And Nombase is unique because it's designed specifically for the brands, service providers and suppliers, and experts in consumer packaged goods who are looking to grow their business and build meaningful connections.

So this really is a platform just for this community.

I feel like I'm in an infomercial, but we've just been working on this for so long and we're just so excited.

We just can't help it.

If you have any questions during this call, please go ahead and throw them right in the chat.

We would love to hear from you.

Hear what you're excited about.

Hear what your questions are.

And of course, if you're watching the recorded version of this, feel free to throw any questions you have in the Nombase Slack.

So the Nombase Slack is the community Slack that we've evolved to be the Nombase Slack.

So go ahead, throw your question in there.

You can also go down to the contact form in Nombase.

So just scroll all the way to the bottom and contact us.

We absolutely want to hear from you and know what you think.

So in order to really give you an idea of what Nombase is all about, I feel like we should probably show you some kind of demo, right, Jackie?

I mean, yeah, let's get them on the site.

So we have this demo put together from Amanda Hong, our UX UI designer.

She was instrumental in putting Nombase together, and she put together this very helpful demo to walk you through each piece of Nombase and show you how it works.

Welcome to Nombase.

In today's fast-paced CPG industry, staying connected and informed can be challenging.

Nombase is your resource to access real-time insights, network effectively, and grow your business efficiently.

Let's explore the platform's key features.

Starting with the CPG directory, Nombase offers an extensive directory with over 9,000 CPG companies listed.

Finding a co-packer for your product or a design agency to elevate your packaging has never been easier.

Cater your search by utilizing the company category's filter, or plug in exactly what you're looking for, and or where geographically is most convenient for you.

You can also tune in to the Nombase Podcast, hosted by Melissa, our Director of Community.

The podcast features in-depth interviews with CPG experts who share actionable insights to help grow your business.

You can also sign up to join a live recording of certain episodes and engage with the community firsthand.

Next, we have the CPG Newswire.

The best way to share your news with an audience of CPG professionals is through submitting a press release.

If you've previously submitted a press release on either BevNET, NOSH or Brewbound, they will populate to the CPG Newswire, which includes new categories covering household products, personal care and pet care.

Nombase also offers a centralized job board where you can either post your own job listing to recruit top talent across the CPG industry or find your next opportunity.

Last but definitely not least, we have Ask AI.

Ask any CPG question and our AI-powered search will comb through BevNET, NOSH and Brewbound's extensive archives to provide you with data-driven insights to support decision-making for your business.

Not sure what to ask?

You can select any of our free prompts or create a free account to ask five questions of your own.

Insiders get the perk of asking an unluminant amount of questions.

Want to add your company to the CPG directory?

First, create an account and navigate to under the company filters.

Go through with the process of creating and submitting your listing for verification by our team.

And once you're approved, you can edit and update your company profile anytime.

If your company was previously on BevNET's PireFinder, we've done the migration over to Nombase for you.

Double check that your information is up to date.

If changes are required, go ahead and request to edit.

Our team members will verify your affiliation before granting access.

You may also request to verify your company profile if it is unclaimed via a short form.

If you have any questions about setting up or editing your page, reach out to our customer support team.

Create an account today and start connecting, learning, and growing.

Create an account today is absolutely the directive.

So please everyone head over to nombase.com.

Check out the directory.

Make sure your information is right if you're a service provider or supplier.

Start having fun with the AI function.

And we definitely want to know what you think about it if it's answering your questions in the way that you think it should.

So let's keep in touch.

We'd love to hear your feedback.

And I mean, selfishly, I would ask you to go to the podcast page, sign up for all of the upcoming Nombase recordings, and catch up on any of the podcasts or videos that you haven't checked out yet.

Jackie, this is a lot that's already been accomplished.

Are we done?

What's coming up next?

We're not done.

This is an evolving platform.

So we're going to be bringing some additional features focused on education for all stages of companies in the industry, as well as creating a hub for data-focused information.

So these are features that are going to be rolling out in the coming months.

So definitely jump in now, give us your feedback, and then come on back because we're just going to be rolling out some more features.

And we actually have a survey that if you're interested, if you're willing, we'd love to hear what you truly think.

You can reach out to me, MTravers, T-R-A-V-E-R-S-E at bevnet.com.

Reach out to me.

I'd love to chat with you and send you a survey because we really do want to make sure that this is servicing all of the needs in our community.

So I think, I don't know, Jackie, I think that's it for Nombase for today at least, not forever, just for today.

Just for today.

But yeah, we're going to leave this in everyone's hands.

I think it's time for everyone just jump in.

Thank you, everybody, so much for joining us.

It's been such a pleasure to share Nombase with you.

We can't wait to hear what you think and we can't wait to see you there.

Thank you.
