Handcrafted in an edition of fifty-five, cut from Cabernet Red Marble, for the wines that define the season ahead.

Anastasio Home, the design house known for its handcrafted marble and stone objects, today announced a limited-edition collaboration with Avaline, the organic wine brand. Together, the two brands have created a custom Wine Chiller and Wine Coaster, each cut and hand-finished from Cabernet Red Marble — a deep red stone shot through with cream and gold — in Anastasio Home's signature twisted-rope profile.

Avaline was founded by Cameron Diaz and Katherine Power in 2020, built on the belief that you should know what’s in your glass. This fall, Avaline turns their attention to what the bottle sits in, joining forces with Anastasio Home, the design brand founded by Gabriela Anastasio in 2021, which makes sculptural objects in stone and metal in limited editions, finished by hand in a dedicated atelier in Rajasthan, India.

Avaline's red collection runs from a light, cherry-forward Pinot Noir to a bold, full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon, with their crowd-pleasing Red Blend rounding out the lineup. Every bottle is made with organic grapes, and without sugar and other additives common to conventional wine. At the heart of the collaboration is a chiller designed specifically for serving red wine at its ideal temperature.

The veining in Cabernet Red Marble is geological rather than applied, meaning no two chillers will ever repeat. Each chiller is hand-carved from a single block of marble — blocks and offcuts set aside from larger productions — so the availability of any one colorway is finite by definition. Marble's density is what makes the piece work: it holds a temperature and gives it up slowly, keeping a red at the temperature it actually wants. Chill your bottle of wine and the marble chiller in the refrigerator. It works for whites and rosés, and even Avaline reds are delicious when slightly chilled: about 30 minutes for lighter reds like Pinot Noir and 15 to 20 minutes for fuller reds like Cabernet Sauvignon. To serve, place the bottle in the chiller.

The Wine Coaster is a nod to founder Gabriela Anastasio's earliest memory of hosting: her nonna's table, adorned with breads and cookies twisted and braided into loops of baked artistry. Rendered in Cabernet Red Marble and made to receive a bottle rather than fruit, the form takes on a new purpose, finished in the same twisted-rope profile as the chiller.

"A table comes alive when there are people around it," said Gabriela Anastasio, founder and chief executive of Anastasio Home. "That is when a beautiful object becomes a beloved object, because it now has a memory — marking time and place, together."

“Avaline exists in a world of beautiful things, and we believe a beautiful bottle deserves an equally beautiful tabletop presentation,” says Rachel Zeilic, Avaline’s Vice President of Brand. “Partnering with Anastasio Home, a brand built on the same craftsmanship we value, felt like the perfect fit.”

The collection reflects a shared ethos between the two brands: thoughtful design, exceptional craftsmanship, and a dedication to bringing people together — values that have defined both companies since their founding.

The brands will introduce the collaboration on October 19 at a seated dinner in the Marble Bar at Pendry Manhattan West — the Skidmore, Owings & Merrill tower that opened in 2021 inside the eight-acre Manhattan West complex, with guest interiors by Gachot Studios.

The Avaline × Anastasio Home Wine Chiller ($395), in an edition of fifty-five, and Wine Coaster ($215), each cut and hand-finished in Cabernet Red Marble at Anastasio Home's stone atelier, go on sale at anastasiohome.com on October 19.
