Texas rancher-owned brand expands to more than 5,900 stores and adopts the USDA’s strengthened “Product of USA” label as demand grows for domestically raised beef

DALHART, Texas, September 30, 2026 — Ribbonwire Ranch, a family-run producer of organic Texas-raised beef snacks, today announced it has expanded to more than 5,900 stores nationwide, with new and expanded distribution at Albertsons, Kroger, Super 1 Foods, Bashas’, Gelson’s and Erewhon.

The growth follows the June retail debut of Ribbonwire’s 100% USDA Certified Organic Beef Stick and builds on the brand’s presence at more than 800 Sheetz locations.

“The response since June has exceeded our expectations,” said Chad Schoonover, Ribbonwire Ranch co-founder and head of ranch operations. “Everyone is paying attention to where their beef comes from now. For Ribbonwire, that answer has always been clear. We raise our own cattle in Texas, grow our own organic feed and oversee the process from pasture to package.”

To support its growing retail footprint, Ribbonwire launched a new website on Sept. 15. The redesigned site makes it easier to shop Ribbonwire products, explore the brand’s 140-year ranching history and find products nearby.

As concerns grow over increased beef imports and country-of-origin transparency, Ribbonwire is drawing greater interest from consumers and retailers who value the brand’s domestically raised beef and transparent sourcing. To make that distinction more visible, Ribbonwire will adopt the USDA’s strengthened voluntary “Product of USA” label, which is reserved for meat from animals born, raised, slaughtered and processed in the United States.

Over the next six months, the label will roll out across Ribbonwire’s packaging, website, social media and online listings, including Amazon.

“The Product of USA label makes it easy for shoppers to see right away what they’re getting,” Schoonover said. “They’ll know they’re choosing American beef raised by American ranchers.”

Every Ribbonwire beef stick is made with beef from cattle born, raised and finished under USDA organic conditions on a family-run ranch in the Texas Panhandle. To learn more about the brand, visit ribbonwire.com.
