SAN LEANDRO, Calif., Oct. 7, 2026 Ghirardelli Chocolate Company, the iconic San Francisco Bay Area based brand with nearly 175 years of chocolate craftsmanship, is bringing new excitement to the cookie category with the launch of Ghirardelli Crispy Cookies. Expanding the brand's portfolio, the new packaged cookie line debuts with two varieties that bring the quality and delicious chocolate consumers know and love from Ghirardelli to an everyday favorite.
Ghirardelli Crispy Cookies pair premium Ghirardelli chocolate with quality ingredients to elevate the classic cookie experience. Each cookie delivers a satisfying crunch, golden-tan toasted edges and rich chocolate in every bite.

Classic Chocolate Chip Crispy Cookies: 10 Cookies in a 6.3 oz. (180g) package. Made with Ghirardelli chocolate chips as the #1 ingredient, these classic chocolate chip cookies balance buttery cookie notes with vanilla and brown sugar sweetness.
Double Chocolate Crispy Cookies: 10 Cookies in a 6.3 oz. (180g) package. Crafted with Ghirardelli dark chocolate chips and a blend of Ghirardelli cocoa powder and chocolate in the dough, these decadent cookies deliver the ultimate cookie experience for chocolate lovers.

Ghirardelli Crispy Cookies are now available online at Ghirardelli.com and will roll out at Kroger beginning October 11 and Walmart beginning October 24. The line will expand to additional retailers nationwide beginning January 2027.
