Tequila Partida and Southern Spirits Unveil Exclusive Roble Fino Single Barrel Añejo

Tequila Partida and Southern Spirits announce the release of Partida Roble Fino Single Barrel, an exclusive Añejo crafted by Partida's Maestro Tequilero, José Valdez Reynoso. Just 138 bottles were produced for this one-time release.
The tequila was first matured for 26 months in an American oak barrel that had previously held Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey for three years. It was then finished for six months in a Sherry Single Malt cask that had previously held Oloroso Sherry for three years and Single Malt Scotch Whisky for 24 years. Bottled straight from a single barrel at 54.5% ABV (109 proof), the expression reflects the precision and creativity behind the Roble Fino range.
"This special, exclusive and limited edition of Tequila Partida Roble Fino Añejo is the result of more than two decades of crafting and perfecting Tequila Partida, combined with the careful selection of exceptional casks and the precise determination of the maturation time in each one," said Partida's Maestro Tequilero, José Valdez Reynoso.
"This is a unique Añejo that preserves the clean agave character and distinctive minerality of Tequila Partida while adding remarkable depth and complexity from the two different oak maturation stages," adds Reynoso.
This release will be available at the launch event on Friday, October 2, 2026 from 5:00pm - 8:00pm EST, exclusively from Southern Spirits in Indian Land, South Carolina. José will be present at the launch event to meet guests and share the story behind the tequila. This tequila will be sold at retail price of $199.99 and can either be purchased online or in-person at the store for South Carolina residents only. Customers who live outside the state must travel to South Carolina and purchase their bottle at the store.
"We knew Partida's Roble Fino expressions represent some of the most premium aged tequilas, and that's why we asked José Valdez to experiment with it to create the first ever cask strength single barrel within this range. This Roble Fino Añejo Single Barrel is quite special due to the types of barrels that were used to create it. We are looking forward to our consumers' reactions towards this special release," said the Southern Spirits team.
Once the 138 bottles are sold, this single-barrel expression will no longer be available.
