STATEHOOD Waters Begins Appearing in Retail Outlets Across the South
Six state-specific water brands serve a Southern market of more than 50 million people, with initial retail placements in Alabama, Louisiana and Mississippi.
PENSACOLA, Fla. — Six state-specific bottled water brands produced by Pensacola-based MSPFLA, Inc. are beginning to show up in retail outlets across the South, with initial placements in Alabama, Louisiana and Mississippi.
The six brands — Alabama Spirit, Arkansas Spirit, Florida Spirit, Georgia Spirit, Louisiana Spirit and Mississippi Spirit — make up the STATEHOOD Waters collection. Rather than selling the same water brand across the South, STATEHOOD Waters created a brand exclusively for each state, built around its identity, imagery and historic statehood date. Each offers Natural Artesian Water in a 16 oz reusable aluminum bottle.
MSPFLA, Inc. is an approved Walmart supplier in the highly competitive bottled water category. Walmart Store Managers across the six-state market can now order their respective state’s STATEHOOD Waters brand for their store. More than 900 Walmart stores operate across the six states, and stores have already begun placing orders.
