NEW YORK (SEPTEMBER 21, 2026) – Black Irish, a collection of premium Irish cream liqueurs created by award-winning artist Mariah Carey, announces the appointment of multi-hyphenate Mona Scott-Young as Chief Marketing Officer. In this role, Scott-Young will lead the brand’s U.S. marketing strategy and consumer engagement initiatives, bringing her expertise across entertainment, lifestyle and beverage marketing to Black Irish as the brand enters its next phase of growth.
Scott-Young joins Black Irish with extensive experience building and marketing ventures that connect talent, culture and audiences across platforms. As CEO and Founder of Monami Entertainment, Scott-Young heads a portfolio of businesses across management, production and touring, creating opportunities that connect talent, brands and audiences across media, partnerships and live experiences.
She brings direct beverage marketing experience to Black Irish as part owner and Chief Marketing Officer of MYX Fusions Wine Beverage, where she leads the development and promotion of the lifestyle brand. Her influence across marketing and entertainment has earned her numerous recognitions, including as Ad Age’s Marketer of the Year, ASCAP’s Woman Behind the Music Award, the Visionary Award at Essence Black Women in Music, and inclusion in Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Power Players in 2025 and 2026.

Black Irish has also been recognized among Wine Enthusiast’s Top 100 Spirits.
