With the birth of her first child, who is affectionately known as Maux, Tyler Neely Butler founded Maux Cocktails to mark life’s special moments in a way that feels distinctive and true to oneself. Neely Butler, together with husband Christian, worked with Connecticut’s SoNo 1420 America’s Maritime Distillery in South Norwalk, CT, to develop six of the most popular handcrafted cocktail recipes – Cosmopolitan, Espresso Martini, Margarita, Negroni, Old Fashioned, and Limoncello Liqueur, plus a neat Bourbon Whiskey selection – which are served in 100ml stylish rectangular bottles bearing the easily customized labels.

 

“I grew up in a family that loved to host and threw the best parties,” says Neely Butler. “Everyone hosted throughout the year, but my grandmother’s Christmas Eve was always a favorite. I remember all the little details that made it meaningful and how everyone looked forward to it, from the beautiful décor to the signature dishes she served. Those memories inspired Maux – the way each element can convey generosity and care and create a special world for your event.”
