SAN DIEGO, CA — Newtopia Cyder, the San Diego-based craft hard cider company known for its bold, culture-inspired flavors, today announced an exclusive distribution partnership with Champion Distribution Group (CDG), a Rocky Mount, North Carolina-based beverage distributor. Under the agreement, CDG will serve as Newtopia's exclusive distribution partner across nine states in the East Coast and Southeast region, with Puerto Rico included as an additional territory, marking the brand's first major expansion beyond its West Coast home markets.
The partnership brings Newtopia's full lineup — including its flagship Venom Imperial Cyder, developed in collaboration with Wu-Tang Clan's U-God — to new markets for the first time. Initial rollout activity will center on North Carolina, Virginia, and Georgia, with distribution timed to coincide with the Wu-Tang Clan's touring schedule in the region. The agreement provides for phased expansion across the nine-state territory and Puerto Rico.
Newtopia has built a loyal following on the West Coast, with placements at destinations including Disneyland, Universal Studios Hollywood, Knott's Berry Farm, Six Flags, and SeaWorld San Diego, as well as major grocery chains throughout California.
