PRESS RELEASE posted by Crossfire Hurricane Rum
Jul. 14, 2026 at 4:53pm (EDT)

London, 13 July 2026 – The Rolling Stones celebrated the launch of their highly anticipated new album, Foreign Tongues, with an unforgettable private rooftop party at St. Clement London, attended by just 150 invited guests from the worlds of music, media, fashion and art.

Hosted on the hotel’s spectacular penthouse, with wraparound terraces overlooking London’s skyline, the evening saw Mick Jagger and Ronnie Wood take to the stage for an intimate live performance before a breathtaking light and drone show transformed the night sky, with the iconic Rolling Stones Tongue dancing above the River Thames to tracks from the new album.

Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed Crossfire Hurricane, the official Rolling Stones Jamaican Rum, served in a collection of bespoke cocktails including the Stone & Gravel Highball, Angie Daiquiri, Jamaican Sunrise and 8 River Negroni — each inspired by the band’s enduring connection with Jamaica.

The event was a fitting showcase for St. Clement London, Nick Jones’ acclaimed new hotel, whose rooftop penthouse and panoramic views provided an unforgettable backdrop for one of the year’s most exclusive music events. Guests also experienced Bobby’s Bar, where Crossfire Hurricane is proudly featured among its premium spirits.

“This was a celebration of music, craftsmanship and the Rolling Stones’ remarkable legacy,” said Vincent Gillet, Managing Partner of Crossfire Hurricane. “Launching Foreign Tongues while sharing Crossfire Hurricane with such an intimate audience, overlooking London as the Tongue lit up the Thames, created a truly unforgettable evening.”

The event also celebrated Crossfire Hurricane’s growing success in the UK, where the brand has rapidly secured distribution across both premium retail and hospitality. Now available through Tesco stores nationwide and specialist retailer Amathus Drinks, Crossfire Hurricane has also been embraced by many of the UK’s leading hospitality operators, including Nobu, Gordon Ramsay Restaurants, Public House Group, Breakfast Group, Lucky Voice, Inception Group, and St. Clement’s Bobby’s Bar. The momentum reflects growing consumer demand for authentic, story-led premium spirits, with Crossfire Hurricane quickly establishing itself as one of the UK’s most exciting new drinks launches of 2026.

Inspired by more than five decades of the Rolling Stones’ relationship with Jamaica, Crossfire Hurricane is majority owned by Rolling Stones Jamaican Rum, crafted from exceptional small-batch Jamaican rum and celebrating the island’s influence on the band’s music, friendships and creative journey.

The celebration comes as Crossfire Hurricane accelerates its expansion across the United States, securing distribution in more than 460 premium retail locations across ten states. The official Rolling Stones Jamaican Rum is now available in Total Wine & More stores across Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee and Texas; BevMo! and Gopuff throughout California and Arizona; Spec’s Wines, Spirits & Finer Foods across Texas; Kroger-owned Ralphs in California and Smith’s Food & Drug in Nevada; alongside respected independent retailers including Lee’s Discount Liquor in Nevada and Goody Goody Liquor in Texas.

These listings represent some of the most influential names in American beverage retail, giving Crossfire Hurricane national visibility across specialist spirits retailers, major grocery chains and leading omnichannel operators. Together, they establish the brand as one of the fastest-growing premium rum launches of the year and introduce the Rolling Stones’ official Jamaican Rum to millions of consumers across key US markets.

About Crossfire Hurricane

Created with The Rolling Stones, Crossfire Hurricane is a culture-first spirits brand inspired by the band’s enduring creative bond with Jamaica — a relationship that has lasted for more than fifty years.

During the early 1970s, the band lived and recorded on the island, immersing themselves in its rhythm, music and cultural energy. That connection inspired the creation of Crossfire Hurricane.

Crossfire Hurricane, Batches 0001, is crafted in small batches and sourced from four of the island’s most iconic distilleries: Hampden Estate, Long Pond, Worthy Park and Clarendon. Combining both pot and column distillates and diverse fermentation styles, the rum delivers a layered profile defined by tropical fruit, signature high-ester character, depth and balance — capturing the unmistakable identity of Jamaica rum.

The blend is co-created with Ian Burrell, one of the world’s leading rum authorities and a long-time advocate for Jamaica rum.

The portfolio includes Crossfire Hurricane Gold, a vibrant and versatile rum ideal for mixing, and Crossfire Hurricane Reserve, a refined sipping rum that showcases the complexity and depth of traditional Jamaican rum.
