DES MOINES, Iowa — This Girl Walks Into a Bar Mixers, a 100% female-founded, certified organic cocktail mixer brand, has been named a 2026 Emerging Brand winner at the Nourishing Change Conference, hosted by Kroger and Hy-Vee. One of only three brands chosen from more than 400 applicants, This Girl Walks Into a Bar will earn placement in up to 500 Kroger locations nationwide and Hy-Vee stores.
The brand produces three certified organic, non-alcoholic cocktail mixers — Margarita Mix, Bloody Mary Mix, and Pineapple Mint Mojito Mix — each with 25–30 calories per serving, 0–5 grams of sugar, and no artificial dyes, gums, or preservatives. The current line launched in January 2025 and has since grown to 100+ retail doors in 20 states.
“We have one goal: clean up the mixer aisle,” said co-founder Jordan Catapano. “When people choose to drink, they’re doing it more mindfully. And when they go zero-proof, they deserve better than an afterthought. Kroger and Hy-Vee get that — and we’re grateful they see This Girl as part of that future.”
Founded by sisters Jordan and Jocelyn, the Southern California-based brand is built on a simple premise: no alcohol, no junk, no compromise. Products are available at 100+ independent retailers, on Amazon Prime, and at Total Wine & More. The brand distributes through KeHE and POD Foods.
