Retailers select Nappy Boy Dranks’ Good Game Strawberry Surge as the category winner

ATLANTA, GA — Good Game by T-Pain Strawberry Surge has been named the Energy Alternative category winner in CSP’s 2026 Retailer’s Choice Best New Products Contest, with convenience retailers selecting the winners.

The recognition comes from CSP’s Best New Product Contest, which puts new products in front of the retailer community for voting across multiple convenience-store categories. For Nappy Boy Dranks, the award provides meaningful validation from the retailers and operators who work with consumers in the category every day.

“This one means a lot because the retailers picked it,” said T-Pain, Co-Founder and CEO of Nappy Boy Dranks. “We put a lot into making Good Game something that works, tastes great and that people actually want to come back to. Thank you to CSP and every retailer who voted for us. We appreciate the love, and we’re just getting started.”

Good Game is a 2 oz. functional energy shot line created around energy, focus and mood. Each shot delivers 200 mg of caffeine plus functional ingredients including L-Theanine, Alpha-GPC and DMAE, with zero sugar, zero calories, natural colors, no niacin flush and no jitters or crash.

“We believed from the beginning that there was room to bring something fresh to the energy shot category,” said Jason Tucker, Co-Founder and President of Nappy Boy Dranks. “The product had to work, but it also had to taste great. To have retailers recognize Strawberry Surge this early in our growth is incredibly meaningful. I’m grateful to the Nappy Boy crew, our team at Acosta and everyone helping us get Good Game into consumers’ hands.”

The award comes during a period of significant growth for Good Game. The brand is now available in more than 2,000 retail locations across 26 states, including Murphy USA, MAPCO, Circle K Florida, Huck’s Market, On the Fly, FiveStar Food Mart and select Marathon, BP, and other regional locations.

Nappy Boy Dranks is continuing to expand Good Game with new flavors and formats while increasing distribution across convenience retail. The company will head to the 2026 NACS Show in Las Vegas, October 6-8, where attendees can sample Good Game at Acosta Booth N1051.
