The chlorophyll category pioneer launches across all 173 stores in 22 states, building on national recognition and growing consumer demand.
NEW YORK, NY — Chlorophyll Water, a pioneer in the chlorophyll category and America’s first-ever bottled water to pass Clean Label Project Certification, announces its availability at all The Fresh Market locations nationwide. The rollout brings Chlorophyll Water to the specialty grocer’s 173 stores across 22 states, continuing the brand’s national expansion to meet growing consumer demand.
Chlorophyll Water combines ultra-purified water with chlorophyll sourced from alfalfa and vegan vitamins A, B12, C and D. Light lemon and spearmint notes deliver a refreshing, ready-to-drink way to incorporate chlorophyll into an everyday routine.
“The Fresh Market has always been a goal for us because of its commitment to quality and carefully curated selection of products,” said Matt Levine, founder of Chlorophyll Water. “To now be available at The Fresh Market is an incredible milestone. We’re excited to introduce The Fresh Market shoppers to Chlorophyll Water and grateful to their team for believing in what we’re building.”
The launch comes as the global chlorophyll extract market is projected to grow approximately 56% faster than coconut water and 40% faster than U.S. bottled water, based on a comparison of published annual growth forecasts through 2030 from Polaris Market Research, and Grand View Research.
Chlorophyll Water’s expansion builds on a growing list of industry honors. The brand earned Walmart’s coveted Open Call Golden Ticket as one of just 100 brands selected from more than 12,000 applicants. It was also named a Top Trending Brand by Spate Market Research, an AI-powered consumer forecasting platform that explored the brand’s rise as “The Chlorophyll Water Phenomenon.” Chlorophyll Water ranked No. 9 among more than 90,000 brands on RangeMe’s Top 50 Food & Beverage list and was featured on the cover of Beverage Industry magazine as “Nature’s Green Magic.”
Additional recognition includes Emerging Brand of the Year finalist honors from the California Grocers Association, selection for the Nourishing Change Emerging Brands Competition founded by Kroger, and finalist recognition in The Beverage Forum’s Ones to Watch program. Chlorophyll Water was also named a Beverage with Benefits finalist in Startup CPG’s 2026 Shelfie Awards, which attracted more than 2,000 product entries.
Independent testing remains central to the brand’s approach. After becoming America’s first bottled water to pass Clean Label Project Certification, Chlorophyll Water has earned the certification for four consecutive years. The certification involves independent screening for more than 90 potential contaminants, including heavy metals, pesticide residues and plasticizers.
That commitment extends to packaging. Chlorophyll Water’s 16.9-ounce and 1-liter bottles are made from 100% recycled plastic and feature CleanFlake label technology, designed to help labels and adhesive separate from PET during recycling. Through its partnership with rePurpose Global, every bottle sold supports the recovery of the equivalent of one ocean-bound plastic bottle. The brand’s recently introduced 16-ounce aluminum cans complement its existing bottle lineup, giving consumers more ways to enjoy Chlorophyll Water.
Chlorophyll Water is now available at all The Fresh Market locations.
