Shiner, the iconic Texas beer brand behind Shiner Bock, is continuing to expand its presence in the spirits category, with its growing spirits portfolio earning recognition from several respected industry competitions throughout 2026. Across bourbon, rye and vodka, the latest accolades underscore the brand’s continued investment in spirits and offer a timely look at how a longtime Texas beer icon is building a broader beverage portfolio beyond its famed Bock.

Most recently, four Shiner Texas Spirits earned medals at the Tasting Alliance’s New York World Spirits Competition:

  • Gold — Shiner Texas Bourbon
