RAMSEY, N.J. / DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. — September 14, 2026 — Graasi Organic Barley Water, the only USDA Organic barley water in the United States, today announced an expansion of its presence in mixed martial arts: the continued rollout of its partnership with the Kill Cliff FC training center in Deerfield Beach, Florida, and a forthcoming sponsorship of "Between Rounds," the combat sports podcast hosted by veteran MMA coach John Crouch. The announcement follows public comments about the brand from UFC Hall of Famer and former UFC Welterweight Champion Robbie "Ruthless" Lawler.
Taken together, the moves put Graasi inside the sport at the three points where hydration decisions are actually made — the athlete, the gym, and the conversation that surrounds both.
Robbie Lawler on GraasiLawler, who held the UFC Welterweight Championship from 2014 to 2016 and was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame for a career spanning more than two decades and 47 professional fights, recently shared his own experience with the product:
"Whether you're a professional MMA fighter like me, a weekend warrior, or a parent who wants to build a champion, hydration matters. Graasi Organic Barley Water is clean energy. Packed with vitamins and nutrients, it gives your body what it needs for grueling workouts. From elite athletes to busy professionals and families with active lifestyles, Graasi delivers superior hydration, recovery, and helps boost immunity."
Lawler's three UFC title bouts — against Johny Hendricks, Rory MacDonald and Carlos Condit — were each named Fight of the Year, and his 2015 bout with MacDonald was voted the greatest fight in UFC history in a 2017 ESPN poll. He retired in 2023 following a knockout victory at UFC 290.
Kill Cliff FCGraasi's partnership with the Kill Cliff FC training center, announced earlier this year, places the brand directly into the daily training environment of one of the sport's most respected fight teams. The agreement covers product integration within Kill Cliff FC training programs, athlete support, and joint visibility across both brands' platforms.
"What immediately stood out to us is how intentional they are about supporting athlete performance from hydration to recovery with clean, effective ingredients," said Peter Lipari of The Martin Advisory Group, which represents the Kill Cliff FC founders.
"Between Rounds"Graasi will become the Official Functional Beverage of "Between Rounds," a podcast built around candid conversations with fighters, coaches and figures from across combat sports. The sponsorship includes multiple in-show ad reads per episode and an accompanying social media program.
The show is hosted by John Crouch, head coach of The MMA Lab in Glendale, Arizona, whose coaching career includes guiding Benson Henderson to the UFC Lightweight Championship. Guests have included Trevor Wittman, Ryan Bader, Michael Chiesa, Raul Rosas Jr., Mario Bautista and Augusto "Tanquinho" Mendes.
“What I like about Graasi is that it’s simple. When I drink one in the morning, I feel like I’m starting my day off right and putting something good in my body before everything gets going. Between coaching, training, traveling and doing the podcast, I’m always on the move, so I appreciate products that are easy to work into my routine and that I actually enjoy drinking.
I also love that Graasi is manufactured here in America. I think that says a lot about the company and the standards they’re trying to maintain. With Between Rounds, we want to partner with brands that make sense for our audience and that we can genuinely stand behind. Graasi is one of those brands. It fits naturally with the health, performance and lifestyle side of what we do, and I’m excited to have them as a partner.”
For Graasi, the value of the podcast is the audience it reaches and the setting in which it reaches them. Listeners are people who train, coach, corner and follow the sport closely — an audience that evaluates a performance beverage on its ingredients rather than its marketing.
Why Barley Water, and Why This CategoryGraasi is made from organic barley grass juice powder and fortified with a full daily serving of vitamins C and D and zinc. Each bottle contains 35 calories and 4 grams of sugar, sweetened with organic cane sugar and organic monk fruit. The line is USDA Certified Organic, non-GMO, vegan and gluten-free, and is available in Citrus Mint, Cucumber Lime and Lemongrass Ginger.
That formulation is the reason the combat sports channel fits. Fighters manage weight, recovery and immune load simultaneously, and they read labels. A low-sugar, organic, functionally fortified beverage is a credible answer for that consumer in a way that a high-sugar sports drink is not — and the same answer travels directly to the broader active-lifestyle shopper Lawler describes.
"Kill Cliff and Graasi share a belief that performance starts with what you put in your body," said Chris LaCorata, President and Founder of Graasi. "We're excited to support their athletes."
