PARIS BROTHERS BECOMES PARIS GROUP
After 43 years of growth from a two-brother wholesale business into an integrated food and beverage platform, the Kansas City company unveils a new name, brand identity, and website — with the same family ownership, leadership, and teams in place.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — September 8, 2026 — Paris Brothers, Inc., the Kansas City–based specialty food and beverage company founded in 1983, today announced it is doing business as Paris Group, a new corporate name and brand identity reflecting the full scope of a business now spanning coffee sourcing and roasting, contract manufacturing, warehousing, fulfillment, distribution, and a portfolio of owned consumer brands.
The change is a brand evolution, not a change in control. Paris Group remains privately held and family owned, with the same leadership team, ownership, facilities, and customer relationships. Paris Brothers, Inc. continues as the company’s legal entity, operating under the Paris Group name.
“The name we started with described who we were in 1983 — two brothers selling specialty food. It stopped describing what we actually do some time ago. We roast tens of millions of pounds of coffee a year, we run more than a million square feet of warehousing, we build private label programs for national retailers, and we own our own consumer brands. Paris Group is the name that fits the business in 2026 and speaks to everything we can do." - Joe Mario Paris, President, Paris Group
ONE COMPANY, CONNECTED CAPABILITIES
The positioning centers on a single idea: most companies supply one piece of a brand’s operation, and the seams between those pieces are where growth stalls. Paris Group brings them together across four integrated areas:
— Full-Service Coffee — green coffee sourcing across 25+ global origins, specialty and commercial roasting, contract manufacturing, private and white label program development, packaging, e-commerce, and café programs.
— Warehousing, Logistics, and Fulfillment — more than 1.2 million square feet of food-grade storage across ambient, refrigerated, and frozen zones, with covered rail access, Foreign Trade Zone–approved space, and 3PL, kitting, and e-commerce fulfillment support.
— Distribution and Full-Service DSD — direct store delivery, specialty, and foodservice distribution, including order management, replenishment, merchandising, and store-level retail execution.
— Owned Consumer Brands — Parisi Coffee, Mother Earth Organic Coffee, Cervasi, Margarita’s Amigos, and Luigi Bonura’s.
The company picks, packs, and ships more than 4,000 orders and 450+ SKUs weekly across retail, wholesale, foodservice, and e-commerce channels, serves customers in all 50 states and international markets, and holds SQF, USDA Organic, Fair Trade USA, and AIB GMP certifications.
A BRAND BUILT AROUND CRAFT AND SCALE
The new identity was developed internally under Tonya Mangels, Head of Marketing, who led the company’s brand strategy, positioning, and digital experience. It is anchored by a guiding principle, Elevating Craft. Scaling Possibility., and a redesigned PG monogram whose circular form signals authority and whose arrow motif signals forward momentum.
“Craft and scale are usually treated as a trade-off — you either make something exceptional in small batches or you make a lot of it. Our operating model is a rejection of that premise, and the brand had to say so. Everything from the mark to the palette was built to carry both a microlot coffee and a national private label program. We had an incredible story, but the market couldn't see the full company behind it. Our opportunity was bigger than a rebrand – we needed to connect decades of entrepreneurial businesses and capabilities into one clear story — and build a brand and platform that could turn that story into growth.”
- Tonya Mangels, Head of Marketing, Paris Group
The rebrand includes a new logo system, typography, and color palette, a rebuilt website at theparisgroup.com, and updated facility signage, fleet graphics, packaging, and customer-facing materials rolling out through 2026.
FOUR DECADES OF BUILDING
The name arrives after four decades of adding capabilities in response to customer needs. Cervasi Italian Foods launched in the late 1980s, production and freight followed in the 1990s, and logistics, inventory management, and regional distribution came in 2000. Parisi Coffee launched in 2005, with full roasting operations in 2006.
In 2013, Parisi Coffee won the World Barista Championship, making it one of only two U.S. coffee companies ever to claim the title. It was selected to operate coffee programs at the new Kansas City International Airport terminal in 2021, and in 2024 invested in expanded roasting, grinding, and packaging capacity.
The rebrand also arrives during a leadership transition. The founders have moved to board roles while the next generation and an expanded leadership team focus on growth. That work now centers on a new 16,000-square-foot headquarters in Kansas City’s Power & Light District, with dedicated space for client meetings, coffee cupping, and product development.
WHAT IS NOT CHANGING
Customers, suppliers, and partners will see no change to their day-to-day contacts, service teams, agreements, or account structures. Existing contracts remain valid, and email addresses will continue to forward during the transition. Note to editors: Paris Brothers, Inc. remains the legal entity name, doing business as Paris Group. Logos, headshots, brand assets, and facility photography available on request.
