TORONTO, ON (September, 2026) -- Astadaily®, a Canadian natural astaxanthin brand, announced that Astadaily Astaxanthin Pure has received Clean Label Project certification and the Clean Label Project Purity Award. According to Clean Label Project, it is the first astaxanthin supplement to receive the Purity Award.
The recognition provides consumers and retail buyers with independent information about product purity and quality. It offers an additional point of evaluation beyond the ingredients, dosage and claims displayed on product packaging.
Clean Label Project purchases products through retail channels and sends samples to ISO-accredited analytical chemistry laboratories. Products are tested for environmental and industrial contaminants that may not appear on ingredient lists, including heavy metals, pesticide residues and plasticizers. Results are then benchmarked against other products in the category.
Clean Label Project certification confirms that a product meets the program’s requirements. The Purity Award is a higher-level distinction for qualifying products that perform within the top third of their category and meet additional compliance requirements.
“As more wellness brands compete for consumer attention, clear and independently verified quality standards can help retailers and consumers make informed decisions,” said Dr. Alvin Cheng, founder of Astadaily and Iconthin Biotech. “For Astadaily, this recognition supports our goal of bringing clean, verified products to the market and making purity a measurable part of the product experience.”
Astadaily Astaxanthin Pure is a vegan natural astaxanthin supplement made in Canada. Each softgel contains 6 mg of astaxanthin, and the suggested serving of two softgels provides 12 mg. Individual blister packaging supports product protection and provides a portable format for consumers.
The product’s Clean Label Project Certificate of Compliance, number SPP0071-2026H-21, took effect on August 24, 2026. The recognition supports Astadaily’s continued expansion across direct-to-consumer, marketplace and retail channels in North America.
