The Italian Alcohol-Free Aperitivo: La Dolce Vita Makes Its North American Debut in New York
Crafted in Calabria by the Spadafora family — bottlers since 1945 — the 0.0% range brings the full ritual of the Italian aperitivo to America, without the alcohol.
NEW YORK — La Dolce Vita, an authentic Italian non-alcoholic aperitivo crafted in Calabria, launches in North America this week at the Summer Fancy Food Show. The brand reimagines Italy’s most cherished social ritual — the aperitivo — as a sophisticated, fully alcohol-free experience: all the flavor, color and ceremony of a Spritz, Negroni or Bellini, at 0.0% ABV. Five signature serves debut in 330ml cans at the Italian Pavilion, Stand 3021, alongside a wider Italian Classic range of sparkling teas, coffees and citrus beverages.
The line answers one of the fastest-growing demands in beverage today: drinkers who want the elegance and occasion of a premium cocktail, but none of the alcohol. Where most non-alcoholic options stop at flavor, La Dolce Vita delivers the entire rito dell’aperitivo — the golden-hour pour, the bittersweet complexity, the moment shared at the table.
THE COLLECTION
Spritz 0.0 — vibrant orange zest, Italian bitters and sparkling bubbles. An Italian sunset, alcohol-free.
Negroni 0.0 — a sophisticated blend of juniper, bitter orange and aromatic herbs. A bold classic, redefined.
Bellini 0.0 — luscious white-peach purée and delicate bubbles. A sip of Venetian elegance.
Mojito 0.0 — crisp lime, fresh mint and a hint of sweetness. The ultimate cool-down, Italian style.
Paloma 0.0 — tangy grapefruit and lime with a sparkling finish. A vibrant, refreshing escape.
“For nearly seventy years our family has bottled the drinks Italians grow up with. La Dolce Vita is our answer to a new generation that still wants the aperitivo ritual — the taste, the color, the togetherness — simply without the alcohol. We brought it to New York because the world is ready for it.”
— Raffaele Spadafora Junior, third-generation owner, Spadafora Srl
SEVENTY YEARS OF ITALIAN BOTTLING
La Dolce Vita is produced by Spadafora Srl, a family company that has operated in the carbonated soft drink bottling industry for nearly seventy years. The story began in 1945, when Raffaele Spadafora started the business in Salerno before returning to his hometown of Cosenza. In 1998, his son Pietro, together with his children Raffaele and Elvira Stefania, founded Spadafora Srl, transforming a small family workshop into an established industrial player. Today the company is led by the founder’s grandson, Raffaele Spadafora Junior.
Spadafora is a leader in the Italian contract-manufacturing market, serving clients across North America, Europe and East Asia. Its modern plant in the Piano Lago–Mangone industrial area south of Cosenza produces around 300,000 bottles or cans per eight-hour shift, and sits just 122 km from the international seaport of Gioia Tauro — one of the Mediterranean’s largest container hubs, putting global markets within easy reach.
FULLY CERTIFIED · ORGANIC
The facility is fully certified and holds an organic certification. Spadafora is BIO certified by ICEA and holds the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety (Edition 7) and IFS Food (Version 6) certifications — international benchmarks that give retail and foodservice buyers full confidence in quality, traceability and food safety.
COMING LATE 2026 The full aperitivo range returns in a premium 200ml glass edition — made for the table, the bar cart and the gift box.
MEET LA DOLCE VITA AT THE SHOW
Buyers, distributors and press are invited to taste the full range at Stand 3021, part of the Regione Calabria collective within the Official Italian Pavilion at the Summer Fancy Food Show, Javits Center, New York, June 28–30, 2026.
