Restaurants and Wine Bars Invited to Submit Expansive Wine By-The-Glass Programs for Inclusion in the Expanding Global Guide
BEDFORD, MA — Coravin, Inc., the global leader in wine by-the-glass systems, has announced the expansion of The Coravin Guide into New York and Miami, further extending the world’s only global guide dedicated exclusively to standout wine by-the-glass programs.
Already featuring leading restaurants and hospitality venues in California and Las Vegas in the U.S., and hundreds of top restaurants and bars across the globe, The Coravin Guide spotlights expansive by-the-glass programs and the sommeliers and beverage teams behind them, celebrating the professionals redefining wine discovery, guest engagement, and premium wine service around the world.
The expanded edition of The Coravin Guide, featuring accounts in New York and Miami, will officially launch later this year. In advance of the launch, Coravin is now inviting restaurants, hotels, bars, and private clubs in both cities to submit their wine by-the-glass programs and sommelier-led beverage experiences for consideration. Participation in the guide is open to all qualifying venues and is not limited to existing Coravin users.
The expansion follows growing consumer demand for more premium and exploratory wine by-the-glass experiences. According to an independent survey in Coravin’s recent 2025 Wine By-The-Glass Report, 54% of consumers in the U.S., UK, and Australia say they are ordering wine by-the-glass more often than they were two years ago, with that number rising to 58% among American consumers.
Younger consumers, particularly those between ages 25-44, are helping fuel the trend, demonstrating a significantly higher willingness to spend on premium by-the-glass pours in the $16-$30+ range.
For sommeliers and beverage managers, the findings point to a growing opportunity to create more discovery-driven and interactive wine programs. Coravin’s research found that consumers are increasingly seeking curated wine flights, guided tastings, food-pairing menus, and interactive sommelier-led experiences that encourage exploration and experimentation.
“Guests today want more freedom and flexibility to explore wine,” says Greg Lambrecht, Founder and Inventor of Coravin. “What’s exciting is seeing sommeliers respond with incredibly creative by-the-glass programs that encourage discovery and make premium wines more approachable. The Coravin Guide was created to recognize those teams and help consumers around the world discover these experiences.”
Featured venues in The Coravin Guide are recognized through a tiering system reflecting the breadth and creativity of their by-the-glass programs:
- One Glass — 20 to 40 wines by-the-glass
- Two Glasses — 41 to 60 wines by-the-glass
- Three Glasses — Over 60 wines by-the-glass
- Greg’s Hidden Gems — Smaller inspirational by-the-glass programs
“We believe sommeliers are one of the driving forces behind today’s evolving wine culture,” says Dave Krupinski, CEO of Coravin. “The Coravin Guide gives visibility to the restaurants and beverage professionals who are driving a deeper connection with wine and turning wine by-the-glass into a more engaging and memorable part of the dining experience.”
Coravin’s research also found that consumers would order wine by-the-glass more frequently if restaurants offered broader selections, seasonal rotations, half-pours, sampling opportunities, and greater assurances of freshness and quality. By leveraging preservation technology and more dynamic beverage programming, restaurants are increasingly able to meet those expectations while expanding premium wine access profitably and sustainably.
Participation in The Coravin Guide is complimentary and open to qualifying venues, regardless of whether they currently use a Coravin system.
Restaurants and hospitality venues in New York and Miami interested in being considered for inclusion may submit their wine by-the-glass programs at guide.coravin.com/pages/list-your-venue.
