United Sugars

United Sugar Producers & Refiners is a marketing cooperative and one of North America's leading sugar suppliers, currently providing approximately one-quarter of the total U.S. sugar demand. Founded in 1994, the cooperative is comprised of four well-established agribusiness members: American Crystal Sugar Company, Minn-Dak Farmers Cooperative, United States Sugar, and Wyoming Sugar Company. Together, these members form a fully integrated sugar supply chain spanning crop cultivation, harvesting, processing, and nationwide distribution.

The cooperative serves both industrial and retail sugar buyers across a broad range of end-use categories, including candy, baking, cereal, dairy, and beverages. Its pooled membership structure enables it to supply sugar for virtually any application, making it a uniquely capable and versatile resource for buyers of all sizes.

Member facilities include American Crystal Sugar's multiple beet sugar factories throughout the Red River Valley in Minnesota and North Dakota, Minn-Dak's processing factory in Wahpeton, North Dakota, U.S. Sugar's two factories in Clewiston, Florida and Savannah, Georgia (which recently joined the cooperative), and Wyoming Sugar's beet sugar factory in Worland, Wyoming. Collectively, these operations represent substantial processing capacity across both beet sugar and cane sugar production.
