The Depot Craft Brewery

The Depot Craft Brewery & Distillery is a combined brewery and distillery located in Reno, Nevada, operating out of a historic three-story brick building originally constructed in 1910 as the headquarters for the Nevada-California-Oregon Railway. As Nevada's first combined brewery and distillery, the establishment occupies a landmark structure deeply tied to the region's western heritage and agricultural history. The building's renovation was approached with the same philosophy applied to its products — honoring traditional craft methods while embracing innovation to deliver a distinctive guest experience. The company produces a range of craft spirits and beers, developed in purpose-built production spaces designed to support experimentation and process refinement. Their approach to product development emphasizes quality base ingredients, technical process knowledge, and a commitment to both traditional and innovative recipes. The culinary program complements the beverage offerings, extending the craft philosophy to food as well. With an emphasis on local sourcing, the operation aims to highlight Nevada's regional identity through its product lineup. The Depot functions both as a production facility and a hospitality venue, offering private events, public events, dine-in service with reservations, and direct-to-consumer product sales. Operating hours are concentrated across Wednesday through Sunday, with the space serving as a community gathering point for locals and visitors alike. The company's mission centers on the transformation of simple ingredients into premium craft products through care, passion, and continuous refinement — positioning itself as both a producer and an experiential brand rooted in Reno's cultural fabric.
