Sun Lovin' Foods

Sun Lovin' Foods is a California-based date grower, packer, and shipper located in the Coachella Valley, where the warm sunshine and dry desert climate create ideal conditions for premium date cultivation. The company operates across the full supply chain — from growing its own Medjool and other date varieties to processing, packaging, and shipping finished products to consumers and retail partners. As both a grower and manufacturer, Sun Lovin' Foods offers a vertically integrated approach to date-based snack production that distinguishes it from commodity suppliers.

The company's product portfolio spans fresh and packaged dates in both conventional and organic varieties, Date Coconut Rolls, and its flagship Sun Lovin' Bites line — a plant-based energy snack made from eight nutrient-dense whole-food ingredients surrounding a sunflower butter-filled center. Sun Lovin' Bites are positioned as a high-protein, high-fiber, gluten-free, and vegan snack suitable for pre- and post-workout consumption, on-the-go snacking, and health-conscious consumers. Each bag delivers approximately 15 grams of protein and is formulated without artificial or unpronounceable ingredients.

All products are manufactured at the company's state-of-the-art packing house in Coachella Valley, California. The facility supports both conventional and organic production runs, enabling the company to serve a range of retail and health food market segments. Sun Lovin' Foods emphasizes clean-label formulation, with short ingredient lists composed entirely of recognizable, natural components including real fruit and California-grown dates rolled in shredded coconut.

The company's packaging reflects a commitment to responsible materials, utilizing PCR (post-consumer recycled) and recyclable packaging formats across its product lines. Sun Lovin' Foods targets health-conscious retail consumers seeking natural, minimally processed snack options, and its product attributes — gluten-free, vegan, organic-available, high-protein, and non-GMO-aligned — position it well within the growing better-for-you snack category. The brand's California-grown origin story and vertically integrated operations from grove to shelf represent meaningful differentiators in the specialty food and natural snack marketplace.
