Shoe Tree Brewing

Shoe Tree Brewing Company (STBC) is an independent craft brewery based in Carson City, Nevada — the state capital — and recognized as the most varietally awarded brewery in Nevada. Operating out of a converted 1970s garage adjacent to the Carson City Hot Springs, the brewery combines a production facility with a taproom that serves as a local destination for craft beer enthusiasts. The company prides itself on brewing a high-volume rotation of beer styles, spanning everything from well-known classics to obscure and experimental varieties, with an emphasis on freshness and quality. STBC maintains an aggressively rotating draft list across multiple taproom locations, ensuring guests always encounter new and seasonally relevant offerings. The brewery targets both local craft beer consumers and visitors to the Carson City area, positioning itself as a community hub that pairs its beverage offerings with regular live music events and a distinctive, casual atmosphere. Its wide stylistic range and consistent recognition within Nevada's craft beer scene distinguish it as a small but prolific regional brewer with a commitment to variety and innovation.
