Philipsburg Brewing

Philipsburg Brewing Company is a Montana-based craft brewery founded in 2012, situated in the historic downtown district of Philipsburg, Montana. Operating out of a landmark bank building constructed in 1888, the brewery has become a cornerstone of the local community and a destination for craft beer enthusiasts traveling through Big Sky Country. A second location, set at the site of the historic Kroger Brewery, expands the brand's footprint and serves as a live music and events venue during the summer months.

The brewery is committed to using only the finest Montana malt, local mountain spring water, and exclusively whole cone hops to craft its beers. This dedication to regional ingredients and traditional brewing techniques has earned Philipsburg Brewing a strong reputation for producing unique, crisp, award-winning lagers and ales. Core offerings include the Haybag Hefeweizen, MT 1 Juicy IPA, Otter Water Session Pale Ale, Razzu Raspberry Wheat, and Vorfreude Vienna Lager, among other seasonal and rotating selections.

Philipsburg Brewing has developed a distinctive packaging format through its Alumi-Tek resealable bottle line, available in 4-packs and 8-packs. The 8-pack variety format, branded as the "Ultimate Montana Lunchbox," features a curated mix of flagship and seasonal beers, making the product accessible for both on-premise and off-premise consumption. Distribution extends across Montana, with products available on shelves statewide.

The taproom, known as The Vault, is open daily and serves as a gathering hub for locals and visitors alike. The brewery actively engages its community through live music events, trivia nights, pint nights, and other community-focused programming. An online merchandise store further extends the brand's reach beyond the taproom.

Philipsburg Brewing Company has also been featured as part of the "Drink It In Montana" beer and spirits tour, a statewide initiative celebrating Montana's craft beverage industry developed in partnership with Southwest Montana Tourism and Central Montana Tourism. This recognition underscores the brewery's role not only as a producer of quality craft beer but also as a contributor to regional tourism and economic development.

With a stated mission of self-sustainability and community enrichment, the brewery prioritizes both staff satisfaction and customer pride, positioning itself as a values-driven business within the broader Montana craft beverage landscape.
