About
Murder Hill is a craft brewery and taproom established in 2024 by husband-and-wife team Ben and Adrienne, located in Whitinsville, Massachusetts. The brewery takes its name from the nickname the founders gave to the wooded hillside surrounding their home, reflecting the deeply personal and locally rooted character of the operation. Murder Hill is committed to crafting distinctive, original beers with a strong emphasis on regionally sourced ingredients. The brewery sources its base malts primarily from the Northeast Grainshed and incorporates carefully selected New England-grown hops, ensuring that each product reflects the agricultural heritage and terroir of the surrounding region. The portfolio spans original house creations as well as collaborative brews developed in partnership with other producers, demonstrating a creative and community-oriented approach to craft brewing. The taproom serves as the primary point of sale and consumer experience, offering guests the opportunity to enjoy freshly brewed beer on-site in a relaxed, first-come, first-served environment. The facility includes both indoor taproom seating and an outdoor patio area that welcomes leashed, well-behaved dogs. To-go options are available in the form of crowlers filled on demand and pre-filled 16-ounce cans, allowing customers to take fresh product home. The taproom also offers non-alcoholic beverage options and hard seltzer alongside its core beer lineup, broadening its appeal to a wider audience. Murder Hill occasionally features gluten-free food items, though the facility is not a dedicated gluten-free production environment. The brewery space is visible from the taproom, giving guests a transparent view into the craft production process, while maintaining strict separation between public and production areas. The venue is available for private events on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, making it a viable option for small gatherings and corporate functions. As a newly established craft brewery, Murder Hill positions itself as a neighborhood destination rooted in craftsmanship, local sourcing, and a strong sense of place within the Massachusetts craft beer community.
