Milton's Brewing

Milton's Brewing is Carlsbad's first taproom and brewery, established in 2016 and located in the historic downtown area at 213 W. Mermod Street. The brewery operates from a beautifully restored two-story brick building that was originally constructed in 1906 as the International Order of Odd Fellows Lodge. Milton's specializes in small-batch craft beer production using a 10 BBL brewing system, creating unique flavors that expand local tastes and culture in the Cavern City. The brewery offers a comprehensive taproom experience featuring indoor and outdoor seating, where customers can enjoy Milton's handcrafted beers alongside New Mexico guest beers and wines. Their beverage offerings include flights for sampling multiple beers, pints, growler fills, and 16 oz cans for off-premise consumption. The establishment also features live entertainment, local and regional food trucks, and serves as a community gathering place. Milton's has expanded significantly since opening, growing from under 5,000 square feet to over 11,000 square feet of operation space. The brewery is brewer-owned and operated, emphasizing quality craft beer production and community engagement. They maintain regular operating hours Tuesday through Sunday, with extended weekend hours, and have become a cornerstone of Carlsbad's downtown revitalization and craft beer scene in southeastern New Mexico.
