Magnolia Brewing

Magnolia Brewing has been a cornerstone of San Francisco's Haight district for over 20 years, operating as a historic brewery and gastropub since 1997. Located at the iconic intersection of Haight and Masonic, the company continues the rich legacy of their 1903 building, which previously housed Schumate's Pharmacy and the legendary Drogstore Cafe during the 1960s hippie movement. Today, Magnolia serves the community with craft beers brewed in their in-house basement brewery, small plates, and craft cocktails. The establishment operates as both a full-service restaurant and brewery, offering a diverse selection of handcrafted beers that reflect their passion for quality and creativity. With late-night hours and a commitment to community gathering, Magnolia maintains its position as a neighborhood institution. The company focuses on modern American fare paired with their signature craft beer offerings, creating a unique gastropub experience that honors the building's eclectic past while embracing its future. Their brewing operations emphasize quality and innovation, serving both locals and visitors to the historic Haight Ashbury area. The establishment features both indoor dining and maintains the authentic atmosphere that has made it a gathering place for over two decades.
