Lock 27 Brewing

Lock 27 Brewing is an Ohio Independent Craft Brewery established in 2012, named to honor the impact of the Miami & Erie Canal on Dayton, Ohio. The company operates two locations: a taproom in the Water Street District of downtown Dayton and a brewpub restaurant in Centerville. Lock 27 focuses on brewing high-quality, flavorful craft beers that are authentically different, with GABF award-winning flagship beers. The brewery emphasizes global inspirations in their brewing methods and beer styles, from changing water chemistry to match specific pubs in England to importing special barrels from Brazil. They serve the consumer packaged goods industry through retail distribution, working with independent sales teams to place their craft beers on-tap in bars and in 6-packs at local retailers throughout Ohio. The company supports local businesses and suppliers, maintaining a family-owned and operated approach while growing Dayton's reputation in the craft beer industry. Their offerings include handcrafted food alongside their beer selection, with daily happy hours, trivia nights, and special events. Lock 27 Brewing works to inspire exploration and conversation through their vibrant and delectable beer offerings, maintaining strong community connections and authentic brewing practices.
