Innocent

Innocent Drinks is a UK-based beverage company founded in 1999, specializing in the production of fruit-based smoothies, juices, and other natural drinks made from fruit and vegetables. The company has built its identity around a commitment to using natural ingredients, squeezing, blending, and processing high volumes of fruit and vegetables into ready-to-drink products designed to support everyday health and wellness for consumers and communities. Operating across European and global markets, Innocent Drinks targets both retail and broader consumer channels, positioning its products as nutritious, great-tasting alternatives rooted in nature's own ingredients.

The company operates its own dedicated manufacturing facility — known as 'the Blender' — located in Rotterdam, Netherlands. This all-electric factory is powered by renewable energy, representing a significant investment in modern, lower-impact production infrastructure. The facility underscores the company's focus on building scalable, forward-looking manufacturing capacity within Europe.

Innocent Drinks has held B Corp certification since 2018, joining a global community of over 5,000 businesses that meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. The company undergoes a formal B Impact Assessment (BIA) audit every three years, and by the end of 2021 had achieved a score of 105.2 points — surpassing its own internal target of 100 ahead of schedule. This certification reflects externally validated commitments across governance, supply chain, workforce, and environmental impact dimensions.

The company donates 10% of its profits to charitable causes, reflecting a long-standing corporate giving commitment that is embedded in its business model rather than treated as a peripheral activity. This giving program supports communities and initiatives aligned with health and access to nutritious food.

Innocent Drinks has a distinctive brand culture, operating out of its London headquarters — nicknamed 'Fruit Towers' — and maintaining a reputation as an employer with an unconventional, community-oriented workplace culture. The company has received recognition for both its environmental practices and its internal culture over the years.

As a CPG supplier and brand, Innocent Drinks is notable for its vertically integrated approach to production, its investment in purpose-built European manufacturing, and its long track record in the natural beverages category. Its product range is centered on fruit- and vegetable-derived drinks, with a focus on wholesome, minimally processed ingredients. The brand has broad consumer recognition in the UK and across Europe, making it a relevant partner or benchmark for retailers, distributors, and co-manufacturers operating in the healthy beverages space.
