A better-for-you gummy candy brand built on German gummy-making heritage and a reduced-sugar formulation. The line uses real sugar rather than lab sweeteners, but roughly 70 percent less of it than the leading gummy candy, which is the brand's core claim and the reason it exists: the founder, Maxi, grew up in Germany where gummy is treated as a way of life, moved to New York, and after an autoimmune diagnosis that required cutting sugar set out to build a gummy she could still eat. The positioning is explicitly against over-sugared and artificially sweetened competitors, framed as real candy with better ingredients that everyone can enjoy. Products are sold direct to consumer in multi-pack format at a single price point across the range. Current flavor sets include Italian Summer, a lemon and cherry combination pitched as a tribute to Italian summers, and The Big Apple, a green and red apple pairing nodding to the brand's New York home, plus a variety pack carrying both flavor sets. Merchandising leans on the founder's story and a playful voice, with the umlaut in the brand name and Italian and German cultural references used consistently across product naming.
