Hatchet Brewing

Hatchet Brewing Company is a veteran-owned craft brewery located in Southern Pines, North Carolina, founded with the mission to create a place of community, genuine relationships, and exceptional craft beer. The brewery draws inspiration from military service heritage, specifically the Hatchet Force operations of Vietnam through recent Special Operations deployments in Africa and Afghanistan. They operate two taproom locations - their main Southern Pines taproom and The Vault taproom in Selma, which features an arcade space in a converted old bank building. Their signature beers include Bragg'n Rights IPA made with British and American malts, wheat, and oats, dry-hopped with Mosaic hops; DILLIGAF, a crisp and refreshing beer made with American and German malts and lightly hopped with Crystal and Hallertauer; and Zero Dank Thirty, notable as the first commercially brewed THC beer on the east coast, dosed at 5mg THC per 16oz pour. The brewery emphasizes their #TeamHatchet culture, believing that no success is achieved alone and that it takes a team. They host regular events including taproom trivia, music bingo, and country dance nights, while featuring rotating food trucks.
