Fyne Ales Ltd

Fyne Ales is a family-owned Scottish farm brewery established in 2001, located on a 4,500-acre estate in Cairndow, Argyll, in a quiet corner of rural Scotland. Founded with the dual mission of producing high-quality craft beer and stimulating economic activity and tourism in the local community, the brewery has grown into one of Scotland's most distinctive and celebrated independent beer producers. Drawing water directly from the surrounding hills and brewing in converted farm buildings, Fyne Ales embodies a deep connection to its natural environment and agricultural heritage.

The brewery produces a wide variety of beer styles, described as modern, ambitious, and progressive. Its portfolio spans ales, hop-forward beers such as its Workbench range, stouts, and rotating limited releases under series such as 'Everyone Loves' and 'Origins'. Products are available in bottles, cans, and mini-casks, sold both through the brewery's own online shop with UK delivery and through the on-site Brewery Tap and retail shop, which are open seven days a week from 10am to 6pm.

Beyond production, Fyne Ales operates a significant visitor experience on its estate, including a Brewery Tap, a retail shop, and a Courtyard Beer Garden. The brewery also hosts FyneFest, described as the biggest independent beer festival in Scotland, an annual event held on the brewery farm that combines an independent brewery showcase with live music and food. The festival has attracted notable headline acts and a growing roster of independent craft breweries from across the UK and beyond, cementing Fyne Ales' reputation as a hub for the independent craft beer community.

Fyne Ales distributes its beers to consumers directly via its e-commerce platform and participates in events beyond the brewery estate, indicating broader UK market reach. The company's emphasis on community, independent craft values, and its rural Scottish provenance are central to its brand identity and positioning within the premium craft beer segment.
