East London Liquor Company

East London Liquor Company is an independent spirits producer based in the East End of London, operating out of a distillery laboratory located beneath a railway arch on Mentmore Terrace. The company crafts a range of spirits including whisky, gin, vodka, and rum, as well as ready-to-drink canned cocktails, all produced in-house at their London facility. Their product philosophy centers on delivering accessible, high-quality spirits that appeal to both newcomers and seasoned connoisseurs, characterized by what the brand describes as texture, individuality, and funk balanced with finesse. The distillery draws its identity and creative energy from the industrial, multicultural, and independently spirited culture of East London, embedding this local character into every product it releases. East London Liquor Company sells directly to consumers through its own e-commerce platform, offering individual bottles, canned serves, and curated booze subscription services, making its spirits available for regular home delivery. Whisky is a particular area of focus, with the company producing its own blended and potentially single expressions, inviting consumers to explore its whisky portfolio through an online shop as well as immersive in-person blending experiences. The brand operates an experiential venue at its distillery site known as the Blending Room, where guests are guided through the whisky-making process and given the opportunity to create their own custom blends to take home. This hands-on experience positions the company not only as a producer but as a destination for spirits education and entertainment. Venue hire is also available, extending the commercial use of the distillery space for private events. A collaborative product line, East London x Kew, suggests a partnership with Kew Gardens that has produced a distinct spirits offering, demonstrating the brand's appetite for creative collaboration. Gift cards and group bookings are supported, making the experiential side of the business suitable for corporate outings, celebrations, and gifting. The company operates with a direct-to-consumer retail model complemented by on-site hospitality, differentiating it from purely wholesale or trade-focused spirits producers.
