Alibi Ale Works

Alibi Ale Works is an independent craft brewery and brewpub operator founded in 2014 and headquartered in the North Lake Tahoe region of California and Nevada. The company operates two public house locations — one in Incline Village, NV and one in Truckee, CA — each serving as a community gathering hub with a relaxed, mountain-lifestyle atmosphere. Alibi Ale Works produces and serves a rotating selection of more than 16 beers on draft at each location, spanning a wide range of styles including IPAs, porters, stouts, pale ales, saisons, sours, and seasonal specialty releases. A notable differentiator for the brewery is its focus on low-gluten brewing processes, with the company claiming that all of its beers are "damn near gluten-free," appealing to health-conscious beer drinkers without sacrificing flavor or variety. The brewery places strong emphasis on beer quality, continuously refining each batch to achieve what it describes as perfectly balanced, sessionable ales suited to the active, outdoor-oriented demographic of the Lake Tahoe Basin and greater Northern Nevada region. Beyond brewing, Alibi Ale Works operates a full food and beverage program at each of its pub locations, offering a menu designed to complement its beer selection. The brewpubs also host live music and special events, reinforcing their role as community anchors in their respective markets. The company has built a loyal customer base supported by a membership rewards program called Alibi Anonymous, which provides members with discounts on beer, food, and merchandise, access to member-only events, and occasional collaboration beer projects. Since opening in 2014, Alibi Ale Works has accumulated more than 70 "Best Of" honors in the North Lake Tahoe and Truckee area, including 11 wins for Best Brewery, underscoring its strong regional brand recognition and consistent product quality.
