Third Street (also known as Third Street Chai) is a tea and chai beverage company describing itself as a team of tea experts and brewing specialists. The company traces its roots to 1995, when its founders began selling homemade tea concoctions at cafes before growing into what it describes as the nation's first craft organic microbrewery for tea-based beverages. Its product lineup includes microbrewed chai and mate blends, boba tea, and iced teas and lemonades. The company's chai is described as brewed in small batches using organic, aromatic spices sourced from around the world, with both signature and artisanal blends offered. Its ready-to-drink iced tea and lemonade line is available in concentrate and ready-to-drink formats, aimed at both at-home gatherings and on-the-go consumption. The company highlights that its iced tea concentrates use premium tea leaves hand-picked from the Nilgiri region of India, steeped in filtered Rocky Mountain water. It also produces yerba mate beverages, describing the ingredient as an herbaceous, botanical South American tea traditionally called an "herb from the gods" by the Guarani people. Third Street serves wholesale customers and invites retailers and distributors to inquire about carrying its products in stores, providing a dedicated sales phone number and email contact. The company markets organic and non-GMO product attributes. Its site content does not provide manufacturing location details, staff size, or additional certifications beyond organic and non-GMO claims.
