Tennessee’s fast-growing, small-batch sweet tea brand Nashville Sweet Tea Co. is expanding its lineup to include a sugar-free version of its best-selling original flavor. Sugar Free Nashville Sweet Tea joins four refreshing flavors of non-alcoholic (N/A), small-batch craft sweet tea and lemonade now available at grocery stores and retailers across Tennessee.
Nashville Sweet Tea, Peach Tea, Sunshine Tea, Nashville Lemonade, and now Sugar Free Nashville Sweet Tea are also available in single 16 oz. cans and in 12-packs online for nationwide delivery. Like all Nashville Sweet Tea, Sugar Free Sweet Tea is brewed with organic tea leaves and a sugar-free sweetener, all meticulously panel-tested and approved.
“Finding a real Southern sweet tea in a package is nearly impossible. We wanted to solve that by sharing my actual family recipe, in cans,” said Nashville Sweet Tea Co. Founder Wesley Keegan. “We think we do that right with the full-sugar version; this is as good as you can find without real sugar. Zero calories. Three ingredients: organic black leaf tea, water, and allulose.”
Nashville Sweet Tea Co. is brewed small-batch by TailGate Brewery, Nashville's independent brewery with nine taprooms across Middle Tennessee and Chattanooga, including an outpost at Nashville International Airport. Made from Keegan's own three-generation-old family recipe, Nashville Sweet Tea Co. is gaining momentum at grocery and chain stores across Tennessee, with plans to expand into new states in the near future.
“Interestingly, I think I'm uniquely qualified to debut this product,” continued Keegan. “My brother grew up diabetic, so while we always had real sweet tea, we also drank a lot of sugar-free tea! This is made with allulose and the best sugar-free version I've had.”
