Good Daze EnergyDenver, CO
Highlights
- $55,000.00 - $96,000.00 / Year
- Full Time
Job Description
Good Daze is a start up beverage company bringing a cleaner energy alternative to market — a green tea-based energy drink built for people who want a lift without the crash. We're early-stage, scrappy, and looking for someone who wants to build something from the ground up, not manage an established machine.
Position Overview
We're hiring a hybrid Boots-on-the-Ground Salesperson & General Manager to lead our local market and ongoing operations in Greeley and the surrounding Northern Colorado region. This is a rare dual role: you'll be out in the field every day getting the product onto shelves and into hands, while also owning the operational backbone that keeps the business running — logistics, admin, and events.
This is a contractor position, ideal for someone who wants outsized responsibility and impact at a growing company, and who's comfortable wearing many hats in a fast-moving startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Market Development
- Build and manage relationships with convenience stores, gyms, gas stations, grocery stores, cafes, and other retail accounts throughout Greeley and Northern Colorado, entering new customers into Square
- Conduct in-person sales calls, product demos, and tastings to drive new account acquisition
- Negotiate shelf placement, pricing, and initial order volumes with retail buyers
- Represent the brand at local events, farmers markets, gyms, and community gatherings to build grassroots awareness
- Develop and manage a route/territory plan to maximize coverage and repeat visits, including delivering drinks and restocking accounts
- Track sales pipeline, account performance, reorder cycles, and sales data
- Gather on-the-ground customer and retailer feedback to inform product and marketing decisions
- Ship influencer boxes and manage related outreach
- Willingness to travel throughout Northern CO and the State to events and customers
General Management & Operations
- Oversee day-to-day business operations, including inventory management and order fulfillment
- Coordinate with delivery person(s), co-packers, distributors, and suppliers to ensure consistent product availability
- Assist with hiring, training, and supervising additional sales or operations staff as the company grows
- Monitor and report on key business metrics (sales volume, account growth, margins, expenses) to leadership
- Manage local vendor and warehouse relationships, including filling out vendor forms for new local partners
- Ensure compliance with local health, licensing, and beverage distribution regulations
- Support budgeting and cost-control efforts as a member of the founding operations team
- Work with the bookkeeper to send invoices
Requirements & Qualifications
- Independent contractor status (1099)
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle for daily deliveries, account visits, and event travel throughout Northern Colorado
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Current auto insurance meeting Colorado state minimums (proof required)
- General liability insurance, or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift and carry product cases (typically 20–35 lbs) in and out of stores and vehicles
- Own smartphone/laptop for Square, communications, and reporting
- Comfortable with a flexible, self-directed schedule including evenings/weekends for events
