The Vermont Specialty Food Association (VSFA) is a non-profit trade organization representing small to large Vermont-based food and beverage businesses. Founded to support the growth of specialty food and beverage enterprises across the Green Mountain State, VSFA serves as the leading information and advocacy resource for specialty food producers, service providers, and industry professionals operating in Vermont and beyond. The organization brings together a diverse membership that includes small family-owned operations as well as larger producers, all united by a shared commitment to high-quality, innovative products made with a distinctive Vermont identity. Member businesses span a wide range of specialty food and beverage categories, including artisan crackers, condiments, dairy products, beverages, and other value-added agricultural goods that reflect Vermont's rich farming heritage and culinary tradition. VSFA supports its members through a comprehensive suite of benefits and services designed to help businesses grow and compete in both regional and national markets. These include regular member engagement opportunities, business education tailored to the specialty food industry, legislative monitoring and updates during Vermont's legislative session, access to archived presentations and recorded educational sessions, and resources designed to reduce costs related to insurance, payroll, and human resources management. The association also provides each member with a dedicated profile to increase visibility within the B2B and consumer marketplace.
