vintagevirginiaapples.com

A Virginia orchard, fruit-tree nursery and cidery operating as Vintage Virginia Apples together with Albemarle CiderWorks, based in North Garden, Albemarle County. The business grows heirloom and antique apple varieties along with other fruit, propagates and sells fruit trees through a seasonal nursery catalogue, and ferments its own handcrafted artisan ciders under the Albemarle CiderWorks name, positioning cider as an American tradition rooted in Virginia's pre-revolutionary cidermaking history. The site documents cider varieties, cider history and cidermaking method alongside apple variety guides, other fruit, nursery information and planting FAQs, reflecting a business that spans horticulture and beverage production. Sales run through several channels: an online shop, a where-to-buy listing for wholesale and retail stockists, and an on-site tasting room open Friday to Monday from noon to five. The InCider Club is the membership program, and the tasting room and orchard host events including live music in the orchard room, workshops, private events, large group visits and an annual harvest festival, plus an orchard-to-bottle cidery tour and tasting experience. The company also fields consultants and publishes a blog with recipes, heirloom apple profiles and growing tips. The tree catalogue runs seasonally and reopens each November.
