Two River Gourmet Mushrooms is a small-scale, USDA Certified Organic specialty mushroom farm located on a 25-acre parcel of farmland preserve in historic Millstone, New Jersey, operating on the grounds of Mighty Dare Farm. Founded in 2014 by KC Sullivan as a passion-driven venture, the company has grown steadily and now employs a team with specialized mycology expertise. Notably, it holds the distinction of being the only USDA Organic mushroom farm in New Jersey cultivating many of the specialty mushroom strains it offers. The farm grows a wide variety of gourmet mushrooms including Shiitake, Oyster, Golden Oyster, King Trumpet Oyster, Maitake, Pioppino, Lion's Mane, Chestnut, Forest Medley Mix, and more. Two River's products are supplied to approximately 40 of New Jersey's top restaurants, including Anjelica's, Gabriella's, Blu Grotto, Il Nido, and Red Horse, as well as 16 retail locations such as Sickles Market, Delicious Orchards, Nature's Corner, Foodtown, and Deans Natural Food Market. The company also participates in local farmers' markets and CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) memberships, reinforcing its commitment to direct-to-consumer and community-focused distribution.
