Originally operating as Allen Food Products, Inc., the business acquired the Trophy line of packaged nuts from Iroquois Brands in 1977 and formally adopted the Trophy Nut Co. name in 1988. Today, the company operates out of a historic building constructed in 1869 along the Miami and Erie Canal in Tipp City, which has been continuously modernized to support current manufacturing operations. Most recently, in 2025, the company introduced Trophy Nut Upside Down Snacks at Sweets & Snacks in Indianapolis, a fun and creative line of seasoned peanuts and cashews with playful flavor profiles and branding. The company also operates a factory store and has offered holiday gift catalogs since 1983, demonstrating a robust direct-to-consumer heritage.
