StarWine Cellars is a family-founded artisan winery and vineyard operation located in the Petaluma Gap American Viticultural Area (AVA) of Sonoma County, California. Established with a vision of cultivating premium wine grapes in one of California's most distinguished growing regions, the company operates over 30 acres of vineyards situated approximately 250 feet above sea level. The Petaluma Gap AVA, designated on December 7, 2017, is defined by its unique wind and fog conditions — factors that directly influence vine stress and fruit concentration. These microclimate conditions produce small, flavor-concentrated berries that translate into wines of elegance, balance, and distinct regional character.

The winery's primary focus is on two varietals: Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, both of which thrive in the cool, wind-driven conditions of the Petaluma Gap. The 2021 Pinot Noir marked the inaugural harvest under the StarWine Cellars flagship brand, representing over a decade of vineyard development and refinement.
