ShiverSticks

ShiverSticks is a family-owned maker of scratch-made frozen popsicles, born from a snow cone stand opened in Longview, Texas in 2015. The company originally served snow cones with syrups made entirely from scratch using real ingredients out of a vintage Airstream, growing to three locations on the strength of bold, from-scratch flavors. During the disruption of 2020, the founders reworked their snow cone flavors into frozen pop sticks, selling an initial batch of 2,500 units online in just two minutes. The product remained on the menu at their Airstream locations after the pandemic, and growing retail and out-of-state customer interest led the company to pursue national distribution, officially launching ShiverSticks nationwide in 2024. Today the pops are sold in 38 states and counting. The product line includes flavors such as Tejas (lime and jalapeño, with a spicy margarita mixer recipe included on pack), Brown Cow, Sunshine, and Strawnilla, sold in retail five-stick packs and shipped direct to consumers frozen in a styrofoam cooler with dry ice. The company emphasizes simple, real-fruit ingredients and scratch-made recipes carried over from its original snow cone syrups, positioning its products as a nostalgic, better-for-you frozen treat for retail and direct-to-consumer channels.
