A Seattle-based alcoholic beverage producer and contract manufacturer trading principally under the San Juan Seltzer brand, operating what it describes as the nation's only dedicated Seltzery -- a facility built specifically for spiked seltzer production rather than converted from other beverage manufacturing. Production is small-batch and craft-oriented, with the company stating that every batch is made to the same specification for freshness and flavor consistency, and that flavor development is tied deliberately to Pacific Northwest agriculture: its stated rule is that if an ingredient does not grow locally it does not enter the lineup. The flagship spiked seltzer sits at 4.2% ABV with zero sugar, zero carbohydrates, and 85 calories, positioned on clean flavor delivery without syrupy sweetener or aftertaste. The portfolio has broadened well beyond a single seltzer SKU. Pacific Northwest Originals is the core spiked seltzer line, built on regional fruit profiles including huckleberry (a Montana-style flavor chosen deliberately over the crowded blueberry segment), Fuji apple, raspberry-cranberry, peach rose with mellow Merlot wine notes, and Rainier cherry, a rare sweeter cherry varietal from Eastern Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. DOUBLES is a higher-strength extension at 8.4% ABV, sold in two variety packs, applying the same Pacific Northwest flavor approach with double the alcohol. Bammaritas are a margarita-style line at 6% ABV built on the company's signature regional flavors with a tequila component. A hard lemonade line is explicitly positioned as not a seltzer -- small-batch, locally made, 5% ABV, full-bodied and both zesty and sweet, gluten free, and formulated with roughly 10% less sugar than the leading national hard lemonade brand. Underpinning the range is Island Shine, a proprietary 14.7% ABV base beer developed for exceptional clarity and a clean finish, used internally as the fermentation base and as a mixer; after sustained demand from taproom visitors it is now bottled and sold in 750ml glass for neat, on-the-rocks, and cocktail use. Products are largely sold in variety packs, and the company operates a taproom alongside its production facility. Commercially the business runs two channels: its own branded portfolio, supported by a where-to-buy retail locator, and co-packing services offered to outside brands out of the same dedicated seltzer facility, making it both a brand owner and a contract producer for the hard seltzer and flavored malt beverage category. The company was founded by Katy Enger, who conceived the brand during a weekend at her family home in the San Juan Islands.
