Restaurants Canada

Restaurants Canada is a national not-for-profit industry association representing the foodservice and restaurant sector across Canada. The organization serves as the primary advocacy body and collective voice for restaurants, foodservice operators, and related businesses, engaging with municipal, provincial, and federal levels of government to shape policy and regulation affecting the industry. Its membership base spans thousands of operators and businesses coast to coast, encompassing independent restaurants, chain operations, caterers, and hospitality businesses of all sizes. The association provides members with a wide range of value-added services, including proprietary industry research and economic insights led by its Chief Economist, access to toolkits, webinars, and educational resources, as well as significant cost-saving programs. Through Groupex, its group purchasing program, Restaurants Canada helps restaurant and hospitality operators reduce operating costs via preferred supplier agreements, national pricing structures, and rebates on commonly purchased products and services. The organization also facilitates industry connection through networking events and its flagship annual trade event, the RC Show, held in Toronto, Ontario. The RC Show is recognized as Canada's leading foodservice and hospitality event, bringing together innovative products, business solutions, and thought leadership over three days each year. Partnership and sponsorship opportunities are available for suppliers and brands seeking to align with the Canadian foodservice community, offered at Business Associate, Preferred Partner, and Sponsor tiers. Restaurants Canada's leadership team includes executives overseeing government relations, public affairs, communications, finance, operations, research, and regional representation across Western Canada, Central Canada, and Quebec. The organization positions the restaurant and foodservice industry as a critical pillar of Canada's broader food production and supply system, actively engaging policymakers on emerging issues, cost pressures, labor policy, and other regulatory matters affecting operators.
