Purpose Pledge

Purpose Pledge is a community-driven initiative uniting companies committed to cultivating right relationships, upholding mutual accountability, and accelerating the shift to authentic stakeholder capitalism. The organization brings its mission to life through its 10 Commitments, which include product quality, independent governance, supply web integrity, fair and balanced compensation, living wages, inclusion, community engagement, climate positivity, circularity for zero waste, and capability building. Purpose Pledge also operates through three levers of change: the Pledge, a community of purpose-driven companies; the Fund, an investment facility for early and later-stage companies; and Policy, which advocates for bold government policies supporting stakeholder capitalism. Pilot companies in the natural products industry, such as Dr. Bronner’s, Gaia Herbs, and Guayakí, have signed on to refine and validate the Pledge’s commitments. The initiative aims to foster a culture of inclusion, sustainability, and mutual development among its members.
